BRAMPTON BELLE (system – Blue Bresil chasers)
Blue Lord, a Grade 1 winner at Leopardstown on December 27th, advertised the claims of Blue Bresil as a sire of chasers and had we bet all his offspring over fences we’d have won 35 of our 160 bets (22%) and made a profit of £49.87 to the usual £1 level stake at SP. Henry De Bromhead’s BRAMPTON BELLE has shown promise at big prices (25-1 and 18-1) in both chase starts to date and she looks very interesting now going handicapping for the first time over the larger obstacles.

STAMP YOUR FEET (systems – Richard Mitford-Slade & ten-year-olds in veterans’ handicap chases)
Backing every runner trained by Richard Mitford-Slade returns a profit (+£24.75) and STAMP YOUR FEET looks interesting in this veterans’ handicap chase. Backing ten-year-olds – the youngest age group eligible to take part – is the best method in these contests and Stamp Your Feet will come on for his recent seasonal/stable debut when an 11-length third to Go Steady, the favourite for today’s race, over 2m4f at Lingfield last time. The step up in trip will help and he’ll strip fitter this time.

DESTIN D’ANJONC (system – J P McManus-owned Warwick handicappers, 2m4f+)
Since the beginning of 2015, owner J P McManus is 16 from 61 (26.2% strike-rate) with Warwick handicappers (chasers or hurdlers) running over 2m4f or further and backing them all would have returned a profit of £69.75 to a £1 level stake at SP. (expected winners only 7.66). DESTIN D’ANJONC, the 20-1 outsider of the ten runners at the time of writing, would have needed his reappearance effort at Chepstow earlier this month and won at the second time of asking last season.

BAK ROCKY (system – Sandy Thomson winter runners)
Since the beginning of 2012, Sandy Thomson has 93 from 471 record (19.7%) with his runners from November to January and backing them blind would have returned a massive profit of £262.95 to a £1 level stake at SP. Wart Soldier was a winning on this angle at Haydock yesterday and perhaps BAK ROCKY, the yard’s sole representative today, can further increase those profits.
