ARQOOB (System – Lucy Wadham, stable switchers)
Trainer Lucy Wadham does well at the first time of asking with horses she takes over from other yards, scoring with ten of the 51 qualifiers (19.6% strike rate) since the beginning of 2008 for a profit of £23.50 to £1 level stake at SP. ARQOOB (doubly declared in case of abandonments) won three times on the flat for William Jarvis and could go well on his first start over hurdles.

HALIC (system – Owen Burrows, first run in a handicap)
Owen Burrows does very well when he pitches one of his horses into a handicap for the first time, scoring with 26 of the 104 qualifiers for a profit of £36.72. HALIC appreciated the step up in trip when narrowly beaten on his latest start and can go one place better on his handicap debut.
WOLVERHAMPTON 5.15
BOUNDSY BOY (system – Awtaad On Tapeta)
Progeny of the sire Awtaad do well on Tapeta, winning 24 of their 92 starts (26.1% strike rate) since the 1st of December 2021 for a profit of £29.57 to a £1 level stake at SP. BOUNDSY BOY has been campaigned over jumps for the last couple of seasons but ran well on his sole start on the Tapeta surface at Newcastle as a two-year-old and could surprise on his return to an artificial surface.

DYNAMITE KATIE (system – Natalia Lupini/Wayne Lordan combination)
Natalia Lupini has an 11 from 40 record when using jockey Wayne Lordan (27.5% strike-rate) for a profit of £37.13 to the usual £1 level stake at SP. Lordan, successful on his last three rides for the yard, can keep the ball rolling with DYNAMITE KATIE, who landed her maiden on her last start at this venue.
