The Carabao Cup final is expected to be a near sell-out when Manchester United and Newcastle United lock horns this upcoming Sunday afternoon.

Approximately 86,000 tickets have been sold for the event, which leaves just under 4,000 tickets remaining for the clash at Wembley – that holds 90,000.

Attendances are up 11% from last season for this year’s competition. And, we can now indulge in what’s expected to be one of the most exciting Carabao Cup finals in recent history.

The atmosphere for one is looking like it’ll be one of the best there’s ever been at Wembley, with two teams both known for having rowdy and passionate fanbase’s.

Newcastle were given an allocation of around 33,000 – which is a lower amount than the number of season ticket holders at St James’ Park.

Manchester United were given a fairly similar amount – which would total around 66,000 – leaving approximately a further 24,000. However, once again the EFL have caused controversy and anger for allocating the remaining 20,000+ tickets for corporate seats, VIP and the media.

How Much Did Tickets Cost For The Carabao Cup Final?

Tickets at Wembley are split into five categories. There’s also a concessionary rate for fans over 65 and over and children under 16.

However, they’d cost you a fair bit more if you was to buy one off ex-Newcastle forward Nigel Ranger who’s reportedly been selling them for up to £2,000 on Twitter.
