Premier League Football Today: Full Fixtures Sunday 21st January

  • Sheffield United vs West Ham (14:00)
  • Bournemouth vs Liverpool (16:30)

GW21 of the Premier League continues on Sunday afternoon, as Sheffield United welcome West Ham to Bramall Lane in the earlier kick off and Liverpool travel down south to face Bournemouth.

Sheffield United have struggled on their return to England’s top-flight, as the man who guided them to promotion, Paul Heckingbottom was sacked as the Blades sit bottom of the table.

Chris Wilder took the reigns for a second time and has failed to turn things around, as his side remain bottom of the Premier League.

The Blades are winless in their last four league fixtures and need to close an eight-point gap to have any chance of staying in the division.

West Ham have been one of the in-form teams over the last few months, losing just one of their last nine league matches.

Picking up huge wins over Manchester United and Spurs, David Moyes‘ side find themselves in sixth place and just six points off the top four.

The Hammers are coming off a crushing FA Cup defeat however, losing to Bristol City on Tuesday evening – after drawing the original clash at home to the Championship side.

After this meeting between Sheffield United and West Ham, football enthusiasts will be greeted by Bournemouth vs Liverpool at the Vitality Stadium.

The hosts have stunned supporters with their performances so far, sitting 12th in the table and have lost just two of their last 10 Premier League fixtures.

A defeat to Spurs last time out ended an unbeaten run of seven in the league, highlighting the progress made under Andoni Iraola.

However, Liverpool have been the best team in England this season, topping the Premier League and have not lost a league match since September.

Jurgen Klopp’s side will be full of confidence after a 2-0 victory over Arsenal in the FA Cup, but may struggle as Mohamed Salah and Trent Alexander-Arnold are both absent.
