The 21st week of Premier League action begins on Friday 12th January, as Burnley welcome Luton to Turf Moor in a relegation six-pointer.
The structure of this Gameweek follows a unique format, as matches will run from the 12th-22nd January – meaning there are only two matches on Saturday 13th.
Despite a lack of matches, the action is set to be thrilling, as the day kicks off with a west London Derby – with Chelsea welcoming Fulham to Stamford Bridge.
Maurico Pochettino’s side have struggled this season, as the Blues sit 10th in the table and are 12 points away from the Champions League places.
Pressure has increased on the Chelsea manager, after losing 1-0 to Middlesbrough in the Carabao Cup semi-final first leg and many are questioning the Argentinian coach.
Their opponents also suffered a defeat mid week, letting a 1-0 lead slip to lose 2-1 away to Liverpool in the Carabao Cup semi-finals.
The evening kick-off also boasts an entertaining encounter, as Newcastle welcome Manchester City to St James Park at 17:30 on Sky Sports.
Eddie Howe’s side have endured a tough time in recent weeks, losing five of their last six Premier League matches – including a run of three straight defeats.
On the other hand, Manchester City have began to regain form, remaining unbeaten in their last eight (all competitions) and moving to within five points of first place – whilst boasting a game in hand.
Kevin De Bruyne, Jeremy Doku and Erling Haaland are all days away from returning to the starting eleven and giving the Cityzens a real boost.
