Full Premier League Fixtures For Week Five: 16th-18th September 2023
The 2023/24 Premier League season is back this weekend after the international break with all 20 sides returning to action.
No Friday game this week, so we start on Saturday lunchtime with Liverpool making the trip to Wolves and with the Reds having won 8 of their last 11 vs Wanderers ‘to nil’ they will fancy their chances of getting all three points.
Five Saturday 3pm games follow that include Man Utd vs Brighton and Villa vs Palace.
The Eagles have scored only one goal in their last 6 away visits to Villa, so will be hoping for better, while Brighton took 6 points off United last season – can they keep up that good run?
Premier League leaders and the current champs, Man City are on the road to West Ham at 3pm too. The Blue Moon have won 12 of their last 14 league games vs the Hammers.
The Saturday 5:30pm match sees Newcastle host Brentford – a matchup that ended in a 5-1 win for the Magpies last term.
Onto Sunday and we’ve two more games with Bournemouth entertaining Chelsea – the sides have played 18 times before and there’s only been 1 draw – wow.
Everton welcome Arsenal to Goodison Park too on Sunday in the 4:30pm offering and it’s been a tricky venue for the Gunners in recent years.
The Toffeemen won this repeat clash 1-0 last season and are also unbeaten in their last 5 home games vs the North London side – could we be in for another shock here?
We see the Premier League week five fixtures conclude on Monday night as Nottm Forest host Burnley, who are still looking for their first points of the new season.
The teams have actually already met this term at the City Ground, when facing off in the EFL Cup – a match Burnley won 1-0. Clarets fans will be looking for more of the same.
