Premier League Fixtures For Week 9 (21st-23rd Oct 2023)

The Premier League fixtures are back this weekend after the international break for week 9 and there’s plenty to get excited about.

We kick-off with the next instalment of the Merseyside Derby as Liverpool host neighbours Everton at Anfield in the lunchtime fixture – did you know the Reds are unbeaten in 22 of their last 23 home league games vs the Toffeemen?

Next up is a stack of Saturday 3pm games that include Brentford vs Burnley, Newcastle vs Crystal Palace and the champions Manchester City hosting Brighton – the Blue Moon have scored 27 goals in their last 9 vs the Seagulls, so the stats suggest a lot of goalmouth action.

Onto the popular Saturday 5:30pm offering and this week it’s a belter and another derby as Arsenal travel across town to take on Chelsea – the Gunners are unbeaten in 7 of their last 8 vs the Blues.

We’ve an added bonus this Saturday too with an 8pm Premier League fixture that sees Man Utd on the road to face Sheff Utd and with the Red Devils having won 9 of their last 11 vs the Blades they will be popular for more of the same.

Onto Sunday and just the one game as Aston Villa entertain West Ham at 4:30pm a repeat fixture the Hammer have won for the past three seasons.

The Premier League week 9 fixtures then end on Monday night with the week 8 table-toppers Tottenham taking on Fulham at home. Spurs have won 8 of their last 10 vs the Cottagers and it could pay to know they’ve also won two of the last four repeat fixtures 3-1.

So, let’s take a look at some key stats for each of ‘week 9’ Premier League games.
