Liverpool’s latest January transfer odds indicate they will pursue Bayer Leverkusen defender Piero Hincapie in January 2024.

Any potential deal will likely be dictated by former Reds star Xabi Alonso, who is the current boss of the 2023/24 Bundesliga leaders.

Hincapie is expected to cost in the region of £60m and has found himself on the bench more often than not this season, and a move away from the BayArena in the January transfer window is a real possibility.

A long-term injury to Joel Matip has forced Jurgen Klopp to rethink his transfer strategy. Joe Gomez and Ibrahima Konate can partner Virgil van Dijk but if they were to get ruled out they are short of quality centre-back options.

According to the latest Liverpool transfer odds, Klopp’s title-chasers are eyeing a number of star players in January 2024.

Liverpool Transfer Odds: Piero Hincapie Favourite To Join Reds

Any potential move for Piero Hincapie may have already hit a few stumbling blocks with Bayer Leverkusen gunning for the Bundesliga title and they are still in the UEFA Europa League. However, with the Ecuadorian defender reportedly unhappy in Germany, Liverpool could capitalise.

Joao Palhinha, Assane Diao And Jamal Musiala

Joao Palhinha has been linked with a number of clubs after his excellent performances for Fulham. The defensive midfielder would improve most teams in world football and Jurgen Klopp’s side would boost their title chances with his signing.

Assane Diao has looked really impressive for La Liga side Real Betis in the first half of the 2023/24 campaign. At just 18-years old, he may be one for the future but Klopp would do no harm at all by bringing him onboard in January.

Bayern Munich and Germany star Jamal Musiala would be a huge coup for any side on the planet. He would undoubtedly cost mega money but would fit straight in to the Liverpool starting XI and would star for years to come.

Pedro Neto, Leroy Sane, Wilfried Ndidi And Jobe Bellingham

Pedro Neto has been one of the unsung heroes of the 2023/24 Premier League season, registering eight assists and one goal for Wolves so far.

Bayern’s Leroy Sane is tried and tested in England’s elite after his time at Manchester City and Jurgen Klopp will know all about his qualities he can bring to the side.

Championship pair Wilfried Ndidi and Jobe Bellingham have looked very good in the first-half of the season and would be very sensible additions to the Reds squad.
