Nico De Boinville Cheltenham Rides Day 4: Just One Ride On Friday
Nico de Boinville was crowned the Champion Jockey of the Year five years ago for his brilliant performance at the 2018 Cheltenham Festival. He won three races, including a second and third place finish too. This year, he will be hoping to replicate that form with a stellar showing at the 2023 Cheltenham Festival.
On Day 4, Nico de Boinville has one ride on Friday 17th March. His solo ride comes in the County Handicap Hurdle (2:10pm) where he saddles First Street for trainer Nicky Henderson. He is priced as a big outsider at 20/1 but could definitely do some damage in the race.
The Gold Cup winner with Coneygree also has no more rides on the fourth and final day of the 2023 Cheltenham Festival. However, he will be hoping for a strong finish with his one ride on First Street on Friday to cap off another decent showing at Cheltenham.
De Boinville is also priced at 11/2 as one of the favourites with leading bookmaker Betfair to be the 2023 Cheltenham Festival Champion Jockey.

What Horses Is Nico De Boinville Riding On Day 4 Of The 2023 Cheltenham Festival?
Friday 17th March 2023
FIRST STREET (County Handicap Hurdle – 14.10): @ 20/1 with Betfair
In terms of Cheltenham odds, Nico De Boinville’s only ride on Day 4 is a relative outsider in the County Handicap Hurdle. First Street is priced at around 20/1 with the best horse racing betting sites and looks to be a great each-way bet here in the second race of the day on St Patrick’s Day.
Looking at his previous Cheltenham results, First Street came second here 12 months ago in this same race behind State Man, and also came third around this course in January in preparation for this race. First Street is a strong horse and looks to have gone under the radar in this one on Friday.
Has every chance of winning or at least finishing in the places if Nico De Boinville gives it a great ride. Top class horse on it’s day and one to keep an eye on here in the County Handicap Hurdle.
