The Next Premier League manager to be sacked odds now see Chelsea boss Graham Potter as the clear favourite to go next after losing to Spurs at the weekend.

Graham Potter The Big Favourite to Be Next Premier League Manager Sacked

At the end of last week it was a tight-run race in the ‘next Premier League manager to be sacked odds’ market – with West Ham’s David Moyes and Chelsea’s Graham Potter almost joint-favourites.

However, there’s been a big swing after the weekend results. It’s now Graham Potter who is the clear favourite @ 1/3 to get the chop next after losing to Spurs 2-0 on Sunday.

In contrast, David Moyes grabbed himself a lifeline with an easy 4-0 over Nottm Forest, which saw his odds to get the boot drift out to 5/1.

Is Potter Clinging On By a Thread?

Graham Potter was only appointed Chelsea manager last year, but since then the former Brighton man hasn’t exactly hit the ground running.

Big-spending Chelsea have only won 8 of their 24 league games this season and after losing to Southampton a few weeks ago, lost again last weekend 2-0 to Spurs.

As a result, Potter’s odds to be the next manager to be sacked have been cut into @ 1/3 and is now the clear favourite to be the 10th Premier League manager to go this season.

The Blues are now winless in their last six games and remarkably have only scored one goal in those matches too. Next up for Chelsea is a home clash with Leeds United on Saturday (4th March).

Many feel the reason why Potter is clinging on still is that Chelsea would have to stump up around £50m to terminate the Chelsea man’s contract. But, you feel that another loss this weekend – especially in front of the home fans –  and it’s going to be hard for Potter to remain and the Blues might have to cut their losses.
