Patrick Vieira has seen his odds slashed in the next Premier League manager to leave odds, as reports have claimed that the Crystal Palace board are concerned by recent results.

Crystal Palace lost 1-0 to Aston Villa last weekend, a loss that extended their run without a win to 10 matches.

The Eagles are yet to win a game in 2023, with their last victory coming over Bournemouth last December.

Palace are now just five points clear of the relegation zone as they sit in 12th place.

Patrick Vieira has been with the club since July 2021, but now according to reports, the Frenchman is fighting for his job.

Reports have surfaced claiming that the Crystal Palace hierarchy are concerned by recent results, and that Vieira could lose his job for this.

The 43-year-old led the London club to a 12th place finish last term, but now faces an uncertain future.

Their fixture list doesn’t exactly help either, as they take on Premier League champions Manchester City at the weekend.

Followed by this is a trip to high-flying Brighton, and then a trip to top-of-the-table Arsenal.

Failing to earn points in any of these fixtures could see Palace in even more danger of being relegated.

However, April will surely be the defining month for the Eagles. They will face Leeds, Southampton, Everton, Wolves and West Ham throughout the month, all of which are in the relegation battle.

Despite seeing his odds slash in the next Premier League manager to leave odds, Vieira is the third favourite to go.

Antonio Conte and David Moyes are more likely to lose their jobs ahead of the Frenchman, according to bookmakers.
