Newcastle Vs PSG Team News & Injury Update

Eddie Howe’s side have been plagued with injuries in the past few weeks and a further two casualties look to have come at a bad time.

Joelinton and Callum Wilson look unlikely to feature after picking up recent issues. The former was taken off just after the hour mark in the win over Burnley, and is a major doubt. As for Callum Wilson, he was absent from the squad at the weekend, and looks set to miss out once again.

Sven Botman is also missing due to a knee injury. Harvey Barnes was recently ruled out for a few months with a “strange” foot injury that he picked up in the 8-0 win over Sheffield United.

Meanwhile Joe Willock is yet to play at all this season, and remains out of action.

As for their opposition, Kylian Mbappe appears to have fully recovered fro a recent ankle knock and made it through the 0-0 draw with Clermont Foot at the weekend.

However, versatile full-back Nuno Mendes has been ruled out until next year after undergoing surgery due to a hamstring injury.

He has joined Presnel Kimpembe, Marco Asensio and Sergio Rico on the sidelines. But other than that, Luis Enrique has no further issues to deal with.
