Racegoers at the 2023 Cheltenham Festival will be introducing their own whip rules after racing as the town is ‘Under Starter’s Orders’ to open a lap dancing strip club over ALL four days.
Cheltenham Festival Punters To ‘Lap It Up’ At Eroticats Strip Club After Racing
Not all the locals have been happy with it, but this year’s Cheltenham Festival will have some extra entertainment for racegoers with a strip club being granted a licence to open.
Yes, there’s always plenty of ways for Cheltenham horse racing fans to ‘do their money’ during the Festival – but here is the latest one. (just don’t tell the wife).
The Under The Prom nightclub will get ‘under starters orders’ over all four days of the Festival, after allowing lap dancing club Eroticats to create a temporary venue at the back of its property.
Earlier last year police didn’t object to the proposed application, which in the end saw only 8 challenges and over 55 votes of support.

Free Entry and Open Till 5am Gives Eroticats ‘Pole’ Position
The venue – for those interested (wink, wink) – is on Church Street. This road is facing the popular Montpellier Street that is always a hot-spot for racing fans into the night.
Opening times will between Monday to Friday from 7pm till 5am. Therefore, those lasting the distance might be falling at the first at the next day’s racing.
There is even a free courtesy bus being laid on by Eroticats that will be doing plenty of ‘lapping’ of its own around the Cheltenham streets picking up punters.
With free entry the final icing on the cake – this has put them in ‘pole’ position to get the crowds in.
