Mauricio Pochettino is still 6/5 to be Chelsea’s next manager, despite reportedly rejecting an initial approach to replace Graham Potter at Stamford Bridge.
Blues boss Potter is under growing pressure in West London, picking up just eight Premier League wins all season. The former Brighton boss has Chelsea sitting 11 points off the top four, and looking likely to be dumped out of the Champions League after losing their first leg tie against Borussia Dortmund.
Former Spurs boss Pochettino is understood to be open to a return to management, but rumours say that he has turned down an offer to become Chelsea’s new manager.

Poch was last in management back in 2022 with PSG, but seems keen on a return to the Premier League, and London – but not Chelsea. Talking at the end of last year, he explained his love for England, London and the football.
“I miss the Premier League, I am really open. I love England and I am living between London and Barcelona, but more in London.
“My house, my home. I love to be in England. The Premier League is the best league in the world. It’s so competitive.”
