Marseille Vs Brighton Prediction
With both sides looking for their firsts wins in the group, we should be in for a good battle and judging on recent evidence, it could go either way.
Marseille themselves have not had a good start to the season, meanwhile Brighton started well but have hit a slight dip in form over the past couple of weeks.
However, we do think that the Seagulls should have enough fire power in the squad to take advantage of a poor Marseille defence. Roberto De Zerbi’s side will need to put recent results behind them if they want to get off the mark in the Europa League and we can see Thursday being a historic night.
They have bounced back well from defeat already this season and we are backing them to do the same again here and are also anticipating plenty of goals.

De Zerbi’s side have been good for most of the season, but their form has dipped in the last couple of weekends. However, they know how to bounce back and can do so on Thursday night.
Both sides will be desperate to put their recent domestic setbacks behind them, so we should be in for a closely contested game. We are predicting over 3.5 goals and we feel 7/5 is good value for that selection.

Joao Pedro netted a brace of penalties in the 3-2 defeat to Athens last month, and has started off his career at Brighton well. He is the joint top scorer for the Seagulls this season with four goals and also has an assist.
Notably he also has a strong goal conversion rate at 36% with just 11 shots on goal so far for the club.
Marseille have also conceded at least three goals in all of their last three games, with their defence not the force of old anymore.
We believe that 13/5 is excellent value for Pedro to get on the scoresheet and he can play a big role in taking three points back across the channel for the Premier League side.
