Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has been voted Premier League player of the month for January.

Marcus Rashford has been named Premier League player of the month for the second time this season, following an impressive showing in January.

Rashford displayed excellent form throughout the month, finding the net in three of United’s four Premier League matches.

His first goal of the month came in a 3-0 win over Bournemouth, with the second coming in the form of a late winner in the Manchester derby.

The forward’s third of the month came against top-of-the-table Arsenal, which also earned him a nomination for the January Goal of the Month award.

His form didn’t only extend to Premier League matches throughout the month either. He netted a further four goals in four cup matches, in both the FA Cup and EFL Cup.

Rashford earns the Player of the Month award for a third time in his career. He previously won the award in January 2019 and earlier this season in September 2022.

He finishes top of a seven man shortlist for the award, ahead of Dan Burn, Brennan Johnson, Riyad Mahrez, Solly March, David Raya and Bukayo Saka.

The 25-year-old claims the award thanks to a public vote, as well as votes from a panel of football experts.

Erik ten Hag’s side are now in fourth place in the Premier League table, with Rashford’s excellent form being a major factor, no doubt.

United are now priced at around 3/10 on Premier League betting sites to finish in the top four come the end of the season.
