Marcus Rashford was taken off in Manchester United’s 2-1 Europa League win over Barcelona, sparking injury concerns ahead of Sunday’s EFL Cup Final.
The in-form striker was replaced by Scott McTominay in the 88th minute after getting treatment following a clash with Ronald Araujo.
At the time, it just looked a precautionary switch by Erik ten Hag, but a later emoji image sent by Rashford had Man Utd fans a lot more worried.
Rashford has scored in every round of the EFL Cup this season. But after Thursday’s game was seen with his left ankle bandaged, carrying his left boot and limping.

Erik ten Hag will also be hoping the Marcus Rashford injury isn’t too bad with Antony Martial also a doubt.
United’s French striker has been suffering from a hip issue and has missed 24 games this season already.
With potentially no Rashford or Martial this Sunday, then United will look to Wout Wedhorst as their main hitman.
On a plus, United did see the return of Harry Maguire to the squad against Barcelona. But Christian Eriksen and Donny van de Beek are still longer-term injury casualties.
