Since the sacking of Frank Lampard, Everton have been linked with various managers. Marcelo Bielsa is the most recent to be linked and has reportedly made his way to London to begin talks with the club.

Leeds made Bielsa surplus to requirements just under a year ago and the Argentine is yet to secure another job. His spell at Elland Road was majorly successful, as he brought the club back to the Premier League. His style of football is fast-paced and would be a huge shock to the Everton side.

Everton owner, Farhad Moshiri made the decision to sack Lampard as the Toffees found themselves at 19th in the Premier League table, with the former Chelsea midfielder only managing to win three games before his time was up.

It was reported that Bielsa told Everton’s board that the players are too slow to play the football that he would want. However, it is now believed that the Argentine has had a change of heart and has travelled to London to continue negotiations with the club.

Marcelo Bielsa is 5/2 to become the next Everton on UK betting sites with the other front-runner being Sean Dyche, 3/1. Two managers with very different styles and philosophies, Everton will be hoping that whoever gets the job will be a success.
