Harry Maguire is set to receive a £10m pay-off from Manchester United if he leaves the club this summer, after enduring a tough season.
Saturday’s FA Cup final could be Maguire’s final game as a United player, with the 30-year-old expected to be on the bench against Manchester City at Wembley.
Maguire cost United £80m from Leicester City back in 2019, but is now worth around £30m. This is due to his age and the fact that he is four years into his six-year deal at Old Trafford.
The England international is earning around £190,000-a-week right now, but it’s believed he would earn half of that if he was to move to a new club this summer. So, it would take £10m for United to get him off the wage book, if another side doesn’t come in for him.

Maguire has only started 16 of United’s 61 games in all competitions this season. Ten Hag has preferred to play Lisandro Martinez, Rafael Varane, Victor Lindelof and even Luke Shaw ahead of him in central defence.
There’s a number of other players facing an uncertain future at the club, with Anthony Martial, Fred and Aaron Wan-Bissaka all entering the final year of their contracts.
