Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United have been priced at 33/1 to win the Premier League this season after Saturday’s 2-1 win against Crystal Palace.

Goals from Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford were enough for Manchester United to take all three points despite a nervy ending at Old Trafford.

Casemiro was shown a straight red card with 20 minutes to play for violent conduct after appearing to have his hands around Will Hughes’ neck, which Palace took advantage of immediately.

Jeffrey Schlupp got one back for the visitors with 15 minutes to play, but a resilient and hard-fought display from Erik ten Hag’s side was enough to see out the clock.

Manchester United Premier League Title Odds

  • Manchester City – 10/11
  • Arsenal – 11/10
  • Manchester United – 33/1
  • Newcastle – 66/1
  • Liverpool – 250/1
  • Tottenham – 500/1
  • Chelsea – 1000/1

According to Premier League betting sites the title race appears to be a two-horse race between Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City and Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.

The pair are still due to play each other twice before the end of the season unlike Manchester United, who have played both sides home and away already and face an easier schedule to close the campaign.

Can Manchester United win the Premier League?

Winning the Premier League this season probably shouldn’t be a realistic expectation for Manchester United fans, but stranger things have happened.

The Red Devils trail Arsenal at the top by just eight points and if the current top two were to draw both games against each other, United could be right in the mix to pounce.

Ten Hag’s side don’t face an easy end to the season however, with matchups to come against Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs in the league.

At 33/1, this selection could be worth a punt as United chase a 21st league title to gain some breathing room from close rivals Liverpool with 19.
