Manchester United are reportedly preparing a club-record offer for Benfica star Goncalo Ramos as Erik ten Hag looks to make his side Premier League title contenders.

The Dutchman is reportedly planning a huge rebuild at Old Trafford this summer, and Ramos is one of his top targets. United are reportedly ready top pay between £70m-£100m form his signature, and could smash their club-record transfer fee.

Ramos is widely known as one of the most promising players in European football, and has 17 Premiera Liga goals with 25 in all competitions.

The 21-year-old also impressed at the Qatar World Cup at the end of last year and scored a terrific hat-trick against Switzerland in the last-16.

Billionaires Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Qatari Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani are trying to become the new owners of United as a sensational takeover from the Glazers could be on the horizon. This could come at the perfect time for Ten Hag’s ambitions at the club.

As well as Ramos and plenty of other targets, the Red Devils are heavily interested in Harry Kane as they look to bolster their attacking options.

With Wout Weghorst’s loan not working out very well and Anthony Martial’s inconsistency, United are in desperate need of a new number nine.

Whatever happens, it’s certain to be a busy summer at Carrington and United fans can expect new faces around the place.
