Despite having to watch their rivals United claim the first silverware of the season last weekend, the Premier League champions remain firmly in contention for a trilogy of trophies after securing safe passage to the FA Cup quarter-finals in midweek, and we are taking a look at the current state of Manchester City treble odds.
After comfortably dispatching of Bristol City in midweek, the Citizens cemented their status as 11/8 favourites to claim a second FA Cup in four years, and in doing so kept the flame lit in their pursuit of a first ever ‘traditional’ treble.
Manager Pep Guardiola has already masterminded a triptych of trophies after claiming a famous domestic treble in the 2018/19 season, but a first Champions League title since his tenure at Barcelona has eluded him for over a decade, both at Bayern Munich and now Man City.
They will also have to overcome RB Leipzig in the second-leg of their last-16 tie, having been held to a draw away in Germany, but City remain the firm favourites at 2/1 to clinch the Champions League for the first time in the club’s history.
Elsewhere, they remain hot on the heels of Premier League leaders Arsenal after chipping away at their sizeable lead at the summit, defeating them 3-1 away from home and cutting an eight point deficit down to just two. However, the Gunners face Everton this evening with the opportunity to restore a five point gap.

There is very little to split the league’s frontrunners in the current markets, with BetUK valuing City at 1/1 while Arsenal hold a price of 11/10. The pair have both dropped crucial points in recent weeks and should expect plenty more twists and turns before the season’s end, particularly with another league meeting slated for the end of April.
Although his side are primed to challenge for all three trophies once again this season, Pep Guardiola was quick to shoot down any mutterings of a treble following the victory over Bristol. He said: “No, forget about it. Forget it.
“When you start to talk about that, you start to lose competitions and drop competitions.
“We are not ready. Not even one second to think about that, we just think about [next game against] Newcastle.”
The Spaniard also recently said his players cannot afford to drop any more points if they are to retain their Premier League crown.
“I know we cannot drop points in the Premier League because we have on top of us a team [Arsenal] and [Manchester] United is coming from behind.
“And Champions League, we see what happen in two weeks. What is important is we are there, but of course, we are going to continue as long as possible.”
Manchester City treble odds currently stand at 12/1 according to UK betting sites, but they will have to rid their curse in Europe and cut the gap on an Arsenal side brimming with confidence in the Premier League.
