Manchester City continued their flawless start to the Premier League campaign, as they made it five wins from five with a 3-1 victory over West Ham.

Match Report
- Pep Guardiola’s side got off to a surprisingly poor start and were punished early on, as West Ham’s marquee summer signing, James Ward-Prowse, headed the ball past Ederson.
- Erling Haaland had a series of chances to level things for the visitors, however, the Norweigan failed to convert and the Hammers went into the break ahead.
- City found an equaliser in the opening minute of the second-half, as Jeremy Doku slotted the ball past Alphonse Areola for his first goal in England.
- Guardiola’s side continued to dominate from then on and took the lead mid-way through the second-half – as Bernado Silva prodded the ball into the back of the net.
- It wouldn’t be a Manchester City victory if Haaland didn’t make his way onto the score sheet. The former Borussia Dortmund player sealed all three-points with a trademark left-footed strike.
Will Man City Win The Title?
The Cityzens will be looking to win their fourth consecutive Premier League title, a feat that has never been achieved in English football.
After picking up the treble last year, many expected the blue side of Manchester to be successful this season and they have got off to the best possible start – winning every league fixture so far.
City will be back in front of their home supporters next weekend, as they welcome Nottingham Forest to the Etihad. Steve Cooper’s side will face Burnley in the Monday Night Football slot, as they look to pick up their third win of the campaign.
