Manchester City legend Sergio Aguero has made a prediction for next season’s Premier League title race and believes Arsenal and Manchester United will be the Cityzens’ closest competitors.
The Gunners came close this season, and led the way at the top for quite a while, however injuries and a slight dip in form caught up to Mikel Arteta’s side.
With City winning a third title in a row, making it five Premier League trophies in the last six seasons, many are expecting Pep Guardiola’s side to win it again next term. They’re currently priced @ 4/6 with the best UK football betting sites.
The Cityzens are also chasing a monumental treble, and face United in the FA Cup final, and Inter Milan in the Champions League final, both in June.

Aguero was speaking on next season…
“City will continue to be a candidate next season,
“It has been shown that is the best team in the Premier League, with a very clear style of play, which has won three consecutive titles, something difficult to achieve.
“Why not think they can get another? Surely, as he does every season, Pep will continue to make the adjustments he deems necessary to remain competitive. But this is the Premier League and it is is football, there will be several teams that try to dethrone them.
“I think Arsenal has established a very important base of young players with a long way to go. Mikel Arteta will try to reinforce his lines and will be one of the rivals to beat next season.
“We must not forget about Manchester United either, who have returned to their competitive spirit and will be one of those who most want to defeat City.”
