Manchester City’s odds of winning the FA Cup have been priced at 11/8 after advancing to the quarter-finals with a 3-0 win over Bristol City at Ashton Gate.
A rotated Pep Guardiola side saw Kevin de Bruyne return from injury, as he started alongside the likes of Julian Alvarez, Rico Lewis, Phil Foden and Kalvin Phillips.
It didn’t take long for the Citizens to stamp their authority on the game, as Phil Foden opened the scoring after just seven minutes.
Riyad Mahrez provided the assist for Foden, finding the Englishman at the back post with a cross from the right hand side.

Bristol City held their own for the remainder of the first half, as Guardiola’s men went into the break a goal to the good.
The hosts held on well at the start of the second half too, keeping the Citizens out until the 74th minute.
Foden notched his second of the evening to double City’s advantage, continuing his good form from the weekend where he scored and assisted against Bournemouth.
A product of a superb De Bruyne pass, Foden slotted home from the right hand side after being played in by Julian Alvarez.

City’s third came just seven minutes later, as De Bruyne got in on the act – scoring from distance. The Belgian precisely struck an effort from around 25 yards, leaving Max O’Leary no chance – securing the Citizens’ spot in the quarter-finals.

Despite losing 3-0, the Robins gave a good account of themselves and bow out of the competition with their heads held high.
Up next for City is a crunch Premier League tie at home against Newcastle United, as they look to keep the pressure on Arsenal at the top of the table.
