Manchester City have collapsed at the back and conceded two goals to Spurs at half-time due to goalkeeper Ederson’s costly mistakes.
Kulusevski and Emerson Royal give Spurs deserved half time lead
After 44 minutes and a back-and-forth half with Erling Haaland coming close to opening the scoring, Ederson’s mistimed pass forced Rodri into an uncomfortable situation and Dejan Kulusevski intercepted the ball to fire home for Spurs.
Just three minutes later, Harry Kane’s effort was parried by Ederson straight into the path of Emerson Royal who headed home in style to double the lead for Antonio Conte’s visiting side.

Spurs set to move within 2 points of top 4 spot with victory
As it stands, Tottenham are sitting just two points behind a top four spot with Newcastle ahead, followed by Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal.
A City defeat would give Mikel Arteta’s Gunners a comfortable lead at the top of the table and a game in hand to their advantage to become even stronger title favourites.
Tottenham are on their way to bouncing back from a disappointing 2-0 defeat in the north London derby last weekend and have responded in style against the defending champions.
