Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City have been priced at 4/7 to win the Premier League this season after Wednesday evening’s 3-1 win against title-contenders Arsenal.
Manchester City moved to the summit of the Premier League table this evening, thanks to a crucial 3-1 win over title-rivals Arsenal. Both sides are level on points with 51 apiece, but the Gunners still have a game in hand on the Citizens.
Takehiro Tomiyasu came into the Arsenal line-up instead of Ben White, but it wasn’t the start the Japanese defender was hoping for. Tomiyasu’s loose pass towards Aaron Ramsdale was intercepted by Kevin de Bruyne, and the Belgian converted with the finest of finishes as he lobbed the Arsenal keeper from outside the box.

Arteta’s side equalised late on in the first-half, with Bukayo Saka converting from the spot. Eddie Nketiah saw his effort cleared off the line, but was taken out by Ederson in the process, earning the Gunners a penalty. Saka sent Ederson the wrong way for his eighth Premier League goal of the campaign.
Man City came out firing in the second-half however. Jack Grealish and Erling Haaland both got on the scoresheet for the visitors, ensuring a mighty three-points in the context of the title race.
Haaland now has 26 goals in the Premier League this season, nine goals clear of second top-scorer Harry Kane.

Man City extend their impressive record of league victories over the Gunners, as they have now won all of their last 11 meetings in the Premier League.
Arsenal look to be stuck in a rut at the moment, as they are now without a win in their last four matches in all competitions. Their last victory came against Manchester United over three weeks ago.
