Will Manchester City Win Back-to-Back Champions Leagues?
It takes a lot out of a team to win one Champions League, winning the tournament again next season can be a struggle for teams. This is something Guardiola is well aware of given his history as a manager.
For City, they waited a long time to win the tournament and won’t want their first defence of the title to be a failure. They’ve improved on their squad from last season, so they’ll be confident they can go all the way again.
The current Man City Champions League winner odds stand at 2/1, showing bookmakers believe they’ll successfully defend their title.
They’ll face tough challenges as the tournament progresses. A lot will also depend on how the knockout stage goes for them. Pep will be hoping to avoid Real Madrid in the early rounds, the La Liga side will be a big threat to Man City.
