Luke ‘The Nuke’ Littler has become one of the biggest names in darts almost overnight after his sensational run to the 2024 World Darts Championship Final on debut. This begs the question, what is Luke Littler’s net worth and career earnings?
Luke Littler Net Worth
Luke Littler has become one of the most recognisable names in darts almost overnight. The 17-year-old darting sensation wowed fans on debut at the 2024 World Darts Championship, with his career in the sport is only getting started.
The Runcorn-born darts star was, of course, in the final of the 2024 World Darts Championship where he faced new world number one and now four-time major champion Luke Humphries.
Littler was the slight underdog with UK bookmakers to claim his first Sid Waddell Trophy and continue this fairy-tale story, but he came up short against the best in the world right now, in a final that saw a record 3.75m viewers.
That Worlds runner-up finish still saw Littler land a cheque for £200,000, plus with that now also opening the door to more sponsorship and appearance opportunities this has seen the earning potential for the teenage darts sensation skyrocket.
As of today, it is estimated that Luke Littler has a net worth of £500,000 (source: The Sun). More on this below.
Given the fact he is just 17-years-old, this is a mind-boggling amount of money. The teenage prodigy has already built up a stellar net worth in such a short period of time, which will continue to rise year upon year over the next two or three decades at least.
The 2023 World Youth Championship has continued his meteoric rise to the top of the sport in super-fast fashion. He is already into the Top 32 in the world, meaning he is now seeded for all of the big darts tournaments around the world.
Not only that, but a win in the 2024 World Darts Championship final would have seen Luke Littler break into the Top 10 on the PDC Order of Merit. More on Littler’s career earnings next.
Luke Littler Career Earnings
Given the fact he had never actually competed on the PDC Pro Tour and has spent the last couple of years on the Development Tour, Luke Littler’s career earnings are nowhere near as big as other elite darts players – yet!
According to Darts Orakel, Littler’s total career earnings sit around £258,629. This figure of course takes into consideration the recent £200,000 he is earned at the 2024 World Darts Championship in prize money and £20k for his Bahrain Masters triumph.
This figure could have hit half-a-million if he was successful in the that World final, but it wasn’t to be.
Forgetting his run at the 2024 World Darts Championship for a second, Luke Littler’s biggest prize win came at the Bahrain Masters in January 2024. Littler beat the great Michael van Gerwen in the final, showing the world that he is ready to compete with all of the best players in the world.
Prior to that victory, Littler’s biggest purse came at the 2023 World Youth Championships. Little reportedly pocketed around £5,000 for his win.
That £5,000 has since been blown out of the water, with his £200k for coming second in the World Darts Championship Final, £20k for winning the Bahrain Masters in early 2024 and £15,000 for reaching the quarter-final of the UK Open.
Not to mention the thousands he will earn for being in the 2024 Premier League of Darts line-up.
It’s fair to say that the career earnings of Luke Littler have only just begun. He could play darts at the top level for another three decades. There is absolutely no doubt that ‘The Nuke’ will earn millions upon millions from now until the end of his career.
