Liverpool Team News: Jurgen Klopp Expected To Rotate Heavily
The Reds will be looking to seal their knockout stage qualification when they face Toulouse tonight and all three points will be enough to secure a top-two finish in Group E. With a 100% record so far in the Europa League this season, they look hard to stop.
When these sides met at Anfield a couple of weeks ago, the hosts came out on top in a 5-1 win, with Diogo Jota, Wataru Endo, Darwin Nunez, Ryan Gravenberch and Mohamed Salah scoring the goals.
Since then they have gone on to beat both Nottingham Forest in the league and Bournemouth in the Carabao Cup. However, head into this one after only just scraping a point away at Luton last time out.
Klopp is expected to make a few changes to his Liverpool side, considering they have a big game in the Premier League this weekend against an in-form Brentford.
Van Dijk did not travel with the squad due to illness, meanwhile Gravenberch is also unavailable after picking up a minor knee injury.
Thiago Alcantara has been ruled out until at least the New Year and Curtis Jones missed the 1-1 draw with Luton and is not expected to return until after the international break.
Scotland international Andy Robertson remains on the sidelines after undergoing shoulder surgery and Stefan Bajcetic is also still unavailable.
