Jurgen Klopp gave a Liverpool injury latest, and has confirmed that two key players in Ibrahima Konate and Darwin Nunez are in contention to return to the squad for their meeting with Wolves on Wednesday.

It’s the fourth time that the two sides will meet in two months, and this time it’s in the Premier League again.

Konate’s return to the squad is certainly a boost for Klopp’s side as plenty of questions have been asked of their defence since the French defender has been absent. He’s missed Liverpool’s last five games due to a hamstring injury in their FA Cup defeat to Brighton at the end of January.

Furthermore, Nunez looks set to be in contention for the Wolves clash, which is good news for Liverpool fans. The Uruguayan had looked more confident in recent matches before he was subbed off against Real Madrid last week in the Champions League.
