FILEY BAY in the 2:10 County Hurdle @ 7/1

Leonna Mayor’s NAP on the final day of the 2023 Cheltenham Festival comes in the shape of Filey Bay in the County Handicap Hurdle at 2.10pm. This horse was bought specifically for the festival by JP McManus.

He ran a strong second last time out at Newbury when travelling well, but he slightly needs to tidy up his jumping for Mayor if he is to win this. The tongue-tie could help him finish strong here which could be the key for Filey Bay.

HIDDENVALLEY LAKE in the 2:50 Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle @ 11/2

Mayor’s Next Best bet on Day 4 of the Cheltenham Festival comes in the Albert Bartlett where she has sided with Hiddenvalley Lake for trainer Henry De Bromhead with jockey Rachael Blackmore in the saddle this afternoon.

He had to make all of his own running last time out, having not jumped as well as we have seen in the past. He did it the hard way and finished in second at Clonmel and showed he can definitely stay. Another one with the tongue tie here which could boost his finishing effort.

She tipped a 33/1 winner on Thursday!
