West Bromwich Albion manager, and former Leeds U23 boss Carlos Corberan has emerged as an early favourite to replace Jesse Marsch at Leeds United.

Leeds United have confirmed the dismissal of Jesse Marsch after less than a year in charge at the club.

Marsch is sacked off the back of a 1-0 loss to Nottingham Forest at the City Ground, a defeat that leaves them in 17th place in the Premier League table, level on points with 18th place Everton.

Carlos Corberan

Corberan has only been at the helm at West Brom for five months, but the 39-year-old has already impressed in the Midlands.

The Spaniard has brought the Baggies out of the relegation zone, and into the top six, with 10 Championship wins from 13 matches.

He previously spent three years at Elland Road, managing the under-23 side, as well as joining Marcelo Bielsa’s coaching staff as a first-team coach.

Corberan led the U23 side to the Professional Development League title, defeating Birmingham City in the final.

Premier League betting sites currently have Corberan as the early favourite to take up the vacant role with the Whites.

Mauricio Pochettino

Pochettino is said to be one of the names Leeds United are interested in talking to, and is priced at around 13/2 to become the Whites’ boss on Premier League betting sites.

The 50-year-old was linked with a move to Nice last summer, but is reportedly keen on a move back to England.

Could we see the former Tottenham Hotspur boss at the helm at Elland Road?

Marcelo Bielsa

Former Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa is another name that has reportedly been thrown into the hat.

Premier League betting sites have the Argentinian priced at around 9/1 to return to Elland Road.

Early indications, however, point towards this being ‘unlikely’, with the Whites looking to speak to other candidates first.
