Leeds’ Premier League survival hopes were dealt a further blow this afternoon after two second-half goals for Fulham condemned the Whites to a disappointing defeat at Craven Cottage.
A fairly even first-half affair saw Fulham and Leeds go into the break goalless.
But it was Fulham that came out of the blocks firing in the second 45.
After scoring his first Premier League goal of the campaign in the win against Everton last week, Harry Wilson found his second of the season with a stunning finish.
Ilan Meslier couldn’t quite clear Willian’s cross which saw Wilson volley home off the underside of the crossbar to hand the Cottagers the lead.

14 minutes later, a quick counter-attack saw Fulham double their lead.
Meslier failed to clear a cross once again, handing Andreas Pereira the easiest of goals as the Brazilian tapped into an empty net.

Leeds fought back just seven minutes later, giving themselves a lifeline in the tie, but ultimately – it wasn’t enough.
In the Fulham box, the ball pinged back and forth off several players, with the ball eventually finding it’s way into the back of the net via a Joao Palhinha own-goal.
