Arsenal’s home kit for the 2023/24 season has been leaked and the gold trim has Gunners fans desperate for Premier League glory in May.

The new kit, manufactured by Adidas, features a red base with white sleeves and gold trim – with the potential of gold Premier League winners badges to add next season.

Arsenal maintain their Fly Emirates shirt and Visit Rwanda sleeve sponsors and next season will mark the first time the new Adidas logo will feature on a Premier League kit.

The new logo, which sees the brand name removed and reduced to a simple three-stripe symbol, was featured on the new Adidas kits at the recent World Cup in Qatar.

The trim is undoubtedly a tribute to the famous 2005-06 Highbury home kit with gold badges and printing. Worn by the likes of Arsenal legends Thierry Henry, Sol Campbell and Cesc Fabregas, inspiration for the new kit likely comes from Arsenal’s resurgence as Premier League giants.

The Gunners last won the league in 2003-04 but will end a 19-year absence if Mikel Arteta’s side can get over the finish line before Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.

Arsenal could also use gold printing for player names and numbers – best used by Swansea during their time in the Premier League, most notably in 2012/13.

If the fans are to get their wish, Arsenal must hold their lead at the top of the table for the remaining ten games. The run-in includes key clashes against Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea and Newcastle United.

According to Premier League betting sites, the Gunners are odds-on to win the title at 8/13.
