Latest Champion Hurdle Odds – Constitution Hill Heads Betting Market

The Cheltenham odds for the fourth race of the 2023 Cheltenham Festival indicate that Constitution Hill will go off as the overriding heavy favourite to win the Champion Hurdle.

The impressive gelding currently head the market at odds of around 1/3 with the best horse racing betting sites. Constitution Hill is unbeaten in his last six starts, including five over hurdles. He has a perfect record of the jumps and is looking to keep that record up in the Champion Hurdle on Tuesday at Cheltenham.

The British horse won at the 2023 Cheltenham Festival – triumphing by a whopping 22 lengths in the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle to Jonbon. He evidently has Cheltenham pedigree and is understandably a massive favourite here in this one.

Horse racing fans are excited to again see Constitution Hill back in action at Cheltenham as one of the standout horses of the year returns.

He certainly look like the strongest horse in the featured race on Day 1 here and will be incredibly tough to stop here in the Champion Hurdle.

Trainer Nicky Henderson has real faith in his 6-year-old and believes Constitution Hill is one of the best horses in training right now.

On paper, this looks like it could be a routine victory for Constitution Hill given how impressive a horse he is. He is priced at short odds of around 1/3 with the best Cheltenham betting sites.

Constitution Hill’s biggest challenger looks to be coming from the Willie Mullins stable in the form of State Man. The French gelding has won his last six straight races, including winning at Cheltenham last year in the County Handicap. However, if Constitution Hill is anywhere near on top form here, he will be impossible to stop in the featured race on Day 1 of the Cheltenham Festival.

Both Henderson and Mullins will be hopeful of winning this race, and it looks like it will be between the two legendary trainers. If you want to know a bit more about both trainers, you can check out Willie Mullins vs Nicky Henderson head-to-head racing stats and net worth by clicking the link.
