Amid speculation surrounding his uncertain future at Manchester City, Kyle Walker has been spotted playing a friendly match alongside some notable faces in Turkey.

Walker, 33, is currently in the middle of a transfer war as his parent club City and German giants Bayern Munich battle it out to either keep or add one of world football’s best right-backs.

This week, the Sheffield-born player has been enjoying some downtime on holiday with some fellow footballers – Arsenal’s Granit Xhaka, Real Madrid’s Antonio Rudiger and Inter Milan’s Hakan Calhanoglu.

32-year-old Peniel Mlapa, former Borussia Monchengladbach cult hero and current striker for Dubai outfit Al-Nasr, was also spotted in the lineup as the Champions League anthem played.

Additionally, fans spotted Turkish goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir in the video, who currently plays for Super Lig side Trabzonspor and captain of his national team.

Walker is a five-time Premier League champion alongside lifting four League Cups, two FA Cups and one Champions League title under Pep Guardiola at City.

Reports suggest that the player is keen to remain in Manchester despite rumours of a £15m move to Munich where he would join forces with former Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel.

He left Tottenham Hotspur at 27-years-old without a trophy to his name and six years later has 14, cementing his legacy as one of English football’s greatest defenders.
