Ahead of a potential bout with Tommy Fury, KSI has made a huge claim over his chances against boxing legend, Floyd Mayweather, as the 30-year-old says he would ‘knock Mayweather out.’

The YouTube sensation has sent shock waves down the world of boxing during his brief time within the sport, starting a new wave of ‘influencer boxing’.

Himself and American YouTuber turned boxer, Jake Paul, have brought a host of new attention to the sport, whilst fighting former MMA and boxing stars. The duo have also created their own promotions, with KSI creating Misfits and Jake Paul being the spear head of MVP promotions.

However, after Jake Paul was defeated by Tommy Fury, the prospect of an all-English bout between KSI and Fury looks increasingly likely to happen – as Olajide Olatunji’s (KSI) previous bout with Joe Fournier was deemed a no contest, following an illegal blow.

With KSI and Fury boasting an undefeated record, confidence is at an all-time high and the YouTube star has now suggested he would ‘knock Floyd Mayweather out’, in a recent podcast episode.

KSI said: “Honestly, I think I’d knock him out. I honestly think I have a great chance at beating him. Mayweather, he’s a good fighter, I just think I’ll have the timing on him. Obviously in his prime I would have no chance.”

Mayweather, who has never lost when stepping into a boxing ring, has held a host of exhibition matches since retiring and fought the brother of KSI, Deji Olatunji.

The boxing veteran proved too much for the YouTube novice and fans have started to question the validity of the recent exhibitions matches.

However, before any bout between Mayweather and KSI can take place, the former FIFA YouTuber is set to go head-to-head with Tommy Fury. The younger brother of heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury, has vowed to end YouTube boxing by beating the two biggest draw consecutively – Jake Paul and KSI.
