According to reports in Italy Juventus are growing increasingly tired of Paul Pogba’s injury problems and his future may be in doubt.
Juventus re-signed the 29-year-old on a free transfer last summer, but Pogba’s return has been far from ideal for the Italian giants. Pogba suffered a knee injury during a pre-season tour which caused the Frenchman to undergo surgery, killing his chances of competing in the 2022 World Cup.
The midfielder winner was set to make a long-awaited return against Lazio in the quarter-final of the Coppa Italia on Thursday. Pogba has now been ruled out of this fixture with the Juventus manager Max Allegri, saying the World Cup winner has had a ‘relapse’ on his original injury.

Allegri confirmed the injury, saying: “Unfortunately, when you’re out for a long time and you raise the intensity level, you get pain. Maybe in a few weeks, he’ll be in top condition,”
“He needs his body to readjust and it will take some time, you have to navigate by sight in these situations. From here to the end, we have to use him in the best possible way.”
Reportedly, Juventus are beginning to become frustrated with the amount of time Pogba has spent on the sideline due to his repeated injury. Pogba is yet to make a competitive appearance for the Old Lady, leaving Juventus at 100/1 to win the league, according to UK betting sites.
