Jurgen Klopp has been left raging with the Premier League for their scheduling of Liverpool’s clash with Manchester City in a couple of weekends time.

Jurgen Klopp Fumes At Premier League Scheduling

Liverpool were victorious on Saturday afternoon as they cruised past Brentford, winning 3-0 at Anfield and they will now enter the international break in second place. Mohamed Salah netted a brace before Diogo Jota added a third.

Their next game will be a trip to the Etihad to take on Manchester City at 12:30 on Saturday 25th November, which will be the side’s first game back after the two-week international break.

Both sides will have plenty of players away with their national teams, with roughly 30 players set to be involved around the globe.

Some late arrivals could be expected from South America, with Ederson, Allisson, Luis Diaz and Julian Alvarez all facing long trips back to England a few days prior to the fixture. Just 72 hours before the top flight fixture is set to go ahead, Brazil take on Argentina in a South American World Cup qualifier.

The Reds boss had his say on the scheduling of Premier League games once again: “How can you put the Man City game at 12:30? These people don’t feel football,

“There could’ve been a moment when these two teams have 30 international players, we pick up the South Americans on one plane to arrive here.”

Klopp has been known to voice his frustration towards scheduling in the past and he certainly didn’t hold back this time around. He was left similarly outraged back in 2020 when Liverpool had a game against Newcastle in the early Saturday slot in between their Champions League semi-final ties with Villarreal.

TNT Sports will host the game live from lunchtime and we could see their new player body cam coverage in action once again as we did this weekend in the game between Wolves and Tottenham.
