Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says he has ‘no doubt’ over Mohamed Salah’s commitment to the club amid reports linking the Egyptian with a move to Saudi Arabia.

Speculation over Mohamed Salah’s future at Liverpool has been non-stop for the past week, after the Merseyside club rejected a £150million approach from Al-Ittihad for the Egyptian.

The Reds have insisted that the forward is not for sale under any circumstances, but with the Saudi transfer window open until Thursday – and the likelihood of further bids in the coming days, question marks remain over his future.

Salah clearly isn’t fazed by the rumours though, as he scored in a memorable performance in Sunday’s impressive 3-0 win over Aston Villa at Anfield.

Speaking to Sky Sports after Sunday’s win – Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp revealed that he has ‘no doubt’ over Salah’s commitment to the club despite being heavily linked with a move away.

“I never had any doubt about his commitment to this club,” the German said.

“You can’t imagine how much fuss the world has made but how calm we are with it. He is our player and wants to play here.”

Summer signing Dominik Szoboszlai spoke to Sky Sports too, also confirming that Salah wants to stay at Anfield.

“You know it is football, everyone is talking. We’re really happy that he has stayed.

“We are of course speaking between each other but he wants to stay, he wants to be here and be with us.

“We are really happy – we need people in the team like him.”
