Joe Cullen World Darts Championship Odds
Joe Cullen’s 2023 hasn’t been as good as we know he can be. The 34-year-old was set for a big year after making the last 16 of the World Championship before being knocked out by eventual winner Michael Smith – but despite the lack of silverware, he still put in some strong performances on TV.
According to the best new UK betting sites, ‘The Rockstar’ is an outsider at 80/1 to win this year’s tournament in North London. This year, his highlights have been reaching the semi-finals of the World Matchplay and World Grand Prix.
Cullen cemented his place in the 2022 Premier League after winning his first PDC major, the Masters last January, and went on to finish as a narrow runner-up to Michael van Gerwen in the Premier League after having match darts to seal the deal.
The Yorkshire-born star has much more to give in this sport and 80/1 is a huge price for someone of his ability. Historically he has struggled at the World Championship but as displayed over a number of big TV events, he has the potential to be great.
