According to reports, Leicester City star James Maddison is going to be sold this summer regardless of the Foxes’ Premier League status, with multiple big clubs interested in the 26-year-old. We’re taking a look at the latest James Maddison next club odds.

Manchester United, Newcastle and Tottenham are all said to be chasing his signature.

The England international has emerged as one of the standout attacking midfielders in the Premier League in recent seasons, and has helped Leicester to some of their greatest success.

With his side currently in a relegation battle, they’d likely be in a worse position without him. Maddison has nine goals and seven assists in 25 Premier League games this season.

With Leicester facing Everton on Monday night, Maddison and his side know if they avoid defeat then they’ll be out of the relegation zone.

The Telegraph reported the following on Sunday night.

“Leicester revealed record losses of £92.5 million in their financial accounts earlier this year and will return to the club’s model of selling a key asset this summer to balance the books.

“Maddison is Leicester’s best player and will be available for a fee understood to be between £45 million and £60 million, with just over a year left on his current contract”

Many Foxes fans would have expected Maddison to go this summer, especially if they do get relegated to the Championship.

However, with Leicester’s fate yet to be decided, reports of Maddison leaving regardless of what happens in May may come as a blow to fans.
