Jadon Sancho has been been urged to apologise to Erik ten Hag by Manchester United teammates after weeks of eating and training on his own following his exile from the squad completely.

Jadon Sancho Told To Apologise To Ten Hag By Teammates

Sancho was exiled from United’s squad back in September after failing to apologise for publicly accusing Ten Hag of making him a “scapegoat” following the side’s 3-1 loss to Arsenal.

Since then, the 23-year-old has been training and eating alone, completely away from the first team with a move away from Old Trafford in January looking more likely than ever.

Following the drama that has unfolded over the past few weeks, Sancho’s teammates have approached the winger about the situation and urged him to apologise to the manager.

They have told the former Bundesliga star that he is in the wrong and needs to say sorry to the Dutchman and get back together with the squad.

The ex-Manchester City academy product has been told that all can be resolved if he gives a sincere apology, but he does not seem keen to do so in a bid to move way from the club in the winter.

It is fair to say that it has been a dramatic fall from grace for Sancho, after making the £73m switch from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2021.

During his time at Old Trafford, he has only managed to find the back of the net 12 times in 82 appearances and also ended up losing his place in the England side.

This latest incident is not the first time that Ten Hag and Sancho have had issues, but things have been resolved before. It is unlikely that things will be fixes again and the player is now reportedly up for sale.
