Out-of-favour Manchester United star, Jadon Sancho, is reportedly preparing for a move elsewhere this January after attracting interest from Juventus and Borussia Dortmund.

The Englishman could be on the verge of leaving Manchester United and his former side, Borussia Dortmund, alongside Italian giants, Juventus, are all keen on a January deal.

Sancho’s time in Manchester has not gone according to plan since his move in the summer of 2021, contributing to just 18 goals in 82 matches.

However, things have escalated over recent weeks, after the 23-year-old was left out of United’s squad for their trip to the Emirates.

Erik ten Hag was asked why the winger was not picked for the fixture and claimed it was down to Sancho’s performances in training.

The Dutchman said: “On his performance on training, we didn’t select him. You have to reach the level every day at Manchester United. You can make choices in the front line so in this game he wasn’t selected.”

Sancho responded online, posting a tweet that hit back at claims over his training and labelled himself as a ‘scapegoat’.

The Tweet read: “Please don’t believe everything you read! “I will not allow people saying things that is completely untrue. I have conducted myself in training very well this week,”

“I believe there are other reasons for this matter that I won’t get into. I’ve been a scapegoat for a long time which isn’t fair!”

“All I want to do is to play football with a smile on my face and contribute to my team.”

Since this post, Sancho has not featured in a single matchday squad and has been removed from all first-team training – moving down to the academy setting in Manchester.

This discomfort has thrown his future up in the air and a move away in January is becoming increasingly more likely, especially with the potential suitors.

Borussia Dortmund are said to be keen on a reunion with their former star, as Sancho made his name for the German side – contributing to 114 goals in 137 matches.

The Bundesliga side will face competition from Juventus, who are also keen on the England international. However, a deal to land Sancho on a permanent basis could cost up to £50m.
