Amid his ongoing feud with Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag, English winger Jadon Sancho has deactivated his personal Instagram account.

After reportedly being banned from entering any of Manchester United‘s first-team facilities due to an ongoing feud with Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag, Sancho has made the decision to take a break from social media.

It comes as the latest twist in the saga between the winger and the Dutch boss after the 23-year-old was banished from the first-team squad for refusing to apologise after hitting out at his coach in a now-deleted social media post, in which he claimed he was being made out to be a ‘scapegoat’.

The feud between the pair ignited when Sancho was dropped from United’s squad, with Ten Hag citing his ‘performances in training’ as the reasoning as to why he wasn’t involved.

Sancho responded to Ten Hag’s claims on Twitter, and wrote: “Please don’t believe everything you read! I will not allow people saying things that is completely untrue, I have conducted myself in training very well this week.

“I believe there are other reasons for this matter that I won’t go into, I’ve been a scapegoat for a long time which isn’t fair!”

On Tuesday morning, eagle-eyed fans spotted the 23-time England international had deactivated his Instagram account, with all of his 32 posts now missing as he continues to train away from the first-team at Carrington.

The Daily Mail revealed Sancho and Ten Hag are set to hold talks to clear the air, with football director John Murtough and CEO Richard Arnold also taking an active role in an attempt to repair the pair’s relationship.

It has also been reported that three first-team players have told Sancho to issue an apology to his manager, so that the situation can be rectified and that the club can move on and focus on the season ahead.

Sancho’s future at Old Trafford remains up in the air amid this latest saga in his drama-filled tenure at the club, but the longer the situation is dragged out – one can only think that his relationship with Ten Hag will reach a point of being beyond repair, which would likely see him forced out of the door in January.
