Manchester City will take on Inter Milan in this season’s Champions League final in Turkey on June 10th as Pep Guardiola’s side look to lift the trophy first time. Meanwhile Inter will look for their first European cup since 2010.
The Cityzens progressed to the final after hammering 14-time champions of the competition Real Madrid 4-0 in the second leg of their semi-final clash. The first leg ended in a 1-1 draw, but Bernardo Silva was the man of the night bagging a terrific brace to help send his side to a second Champions League final.
Meanwhile Inter won the bragging rights in the city after defeating fierce rivals AC Milan over two legs to progress to a first final since winning it back in 2010.
Quick-fire goals from Edin Dzeko and Henrikh Mkhitaryan secured a 2-0 win in the first leg, before Latauro Martinez scored the only goal of the game in the second leg, sending Inter through with a 3-0 aggregate score.

Surprisingly, this is the first time that the two sides will meet in a competitive match when they lock horns in Istanbul and it’s sure to be a special night for all involved.
It’s also the first time a debut meeting between two sides has been in a Champions League final since Liverpool vs Milan in the same stadium back in 2005, so could history repeat itself?

It was England vs Italy 18 years ago, and the same is happening in 2023 so could we see the English side prevail once again? The Cityzens are chasing a monumental treble, and could complete it in Istanbul.
