Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is refusing to sign a new contract at the club and wants to move to Bayern Munich if a deal can be agreed between the two clubs.

According to The Times, Kane has no intention of extending his stay in north London and would be keen on a move to play under Thomas Tuchel at Bayern if the clubs can come to an agreement.

Just a few weeks ago, the news broke that the German giants had submitted a €70m offer to sign Tottenham’s record goalscorer but anything below €100m is likely to fall short of Daniel Levy’s valuation.

According to football betting sites, the race is close and it ultimately appears to be a toss up on who will have England’s number nine leading their line for the 2023/24 season.

Kane is the all-time leading scorer for both his club and country, but trails Alan Shearer (260) to break the Premier League‘s record and is 47 adrift at 213 – at just 29-years-old, it would likely only take him another two seasons in England’s top-flight to surpass the Newcastle legend.

He is yet to win a major trophy in his professional career and he would have the best chance of success in the Bundesliga, considering Bayern Munich have won the last 11 league titles in a row.

Kane scored the most match-winning goals in the Premier League last season and is widely regarded as one of the best strikers on the planet, but he appears ready for a new challenge.
