PSG are reportedly furious after Hakim Ziyech’s loan move fell through thanks to Chelsea making an error with the paperwork.
Hakim Ziyech’s loan move to PSG has officially collapsed, after the French league rejected PSG’s appeal to complete the forward’s transfer.
A deal was struck between Chelsea and PSG in the final hours of the January transfer window, but the Blues are said to have submitted the transfer documents incorrectly three times, leading to the collapse of the transfer.
It is believed that the first document included a mistake, the second wasn’t signed and the third was submitted too late.

Ziyech was in Paris, pushing for the deal to be completed, even paying his own money to get the deal done.
The Moroccan international was also messaging Blues owner Todd Boehly pleading to get the deal finalised.
He is said to be upset at the situation, given he had spent the entire day pushing for the move.

Suggestions have been made that Chelsea’s focus on securing a deal for Enzo Fernandez was a contributing factor towards the blunder.
Where Ziyech fits in now at Stamford Bridge remains to be seen. The arrivals of Noni Madueke, Mykhailo Mudryk and Joao Felix will likely reduce the 29-year-old’s game time under Graham Potter.
Chelsea currently sit in 10th in the Premier League table.
The Blues are priced at 8/1 to finish in the top four according to Premier League betting sites.
