Gerwyn Price World Darts Championship Odds
Gerwyn Price‘s 2023 has lacked a major title, so the Welshman will be less than satisfied that. However, he’s enjoyed some strong performances – most notably finishing runner-up to Michael van Gerwen in the Premier League.
According to the best new UK betting sites, ‘The Iceman’ is the third favourite to win this year’s tournament in North London – which would be his second title on the Alexandra Palace stage and a first in front of the famous crowd.
When he became world champion in 2021, he won the title behind closed doors. The crowd’s jeering has been a detrimental issue for Price in the past, which led to him entering the stage with ear defenders on last year.
He trails only Luke Humphries and Van Gerwen in the betting. Price is one of a number of strong contenders to claim the prize this winter, but he’ll need to show a newfound mental resiliency to overcome adversity from the ‘Ally Pally’ faithful.
